I have read this book and I loved it. Dr. Billi Tiner has a true insight in how animals think and feel and can depict their loyality and love in her books. Just by reading you can follow her wisdom in animal personality and body language. It was obvious to me that she has studied animal behavior. I highly recommend this book for all ages. The story line is wonderful and children could enjoy having this book read to them. It has a couple of words that a reader might want to change while reading to younger children. But with that said, I also felt Dr. Tiner was able to catch the true fun of a western with the cowboys language. The adult characters were will depicted too coming alive in the telling. There is action, adventure, and romance. I thought it was a really good book. I easily give it 5 stars!
